Weekly Book Haul (20)

Hi everyone! I am SO happy to be back to blogging. IT'S SUMMER. Guys.
That gives me time to actually sit down and READ A BOOK. Peacefully.

Anyway, as most of you know, I took a two-week hiatus for the end of the year (exams). Well,
in that time, I did gather a great amount of books.... here goes nothing. I got these BEFORE
the library book ban officially started, mind you.

The physical books (from the library):

I know that Lea @ LC's Adventures in Libraryland LOVES this series.

I have yet to read the first...

The Audiobooks (also, from the library):

Loretta @ Between the Pages is OBSESSED with this book!

I know Sash @ Sash & Em really liked the audio of this one! =)

I have the first 3 in paperback, no need to worry that I don't know the order!

From Netgalley:

This is an adult novel, but it does have YA crossover appeal.
Plus, Racquel @ The Book Barbies LOVES this book, and I trust her,
so yeah. =) Thank you SO much Penguin for approving me of this title!

My Reading Pile (June 17-June 23) hosted by Rachel @ Fiktshun
I'm going to be having a relatively busy week this week (I know, it's only the first week of summer and I'm already busy) with dance team things, and my own dance studio's recital. However, it IS summer now, so I will be reading whenever I have the chance. I want to finish Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. I started it early last week, but it's so BIG.

I do believe I'll be able to start Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, and read Hourglass by Myra McEntire. If at all possible, I want to start Timepiece as well.

That's what I got this week! What did you guys get? What's in your reading pile? Feel free to leave links, I'd be so happy to check them out! =) Have a great reading week!

  1. Wow lots of books this week! I really want to read Fracture. Do you like audio books? I might start getting them because I can listen when I drive. :P Happy reading! And thanks so much for commenting on my IMM! Glad you like my vlogs!

  2. SO many amazing books this week! I see you got the vampires academy series! Let me just tell you, that is one of my favorite series of all time! You are going to absolutely devour it! Gosh, I envy you right now. I've already finished it. You are in for a wild ride hehe. Great haul :)

    Shae @ Understanding Shae's Story

    1. Hehe I can't wait to start the series! So happy to hear that you enjoyed them. Thanks for stopping by!

  3. YAY to all the Vampire Academy books!!! And also YES, on A Need So Beautiful. Really fantastic book. Happy Reading!!!!

  4. OMG. I can't wait to see what you think of the VA series! <3 <3 <3 I love those books so much I'm like "ARRGHHH GIMME MORE VA BOOKS" every time I finished reading one. XD

DUDE. The Percy Jackson series were like made of epic sauce. They are the very RARE exception to me liking MG books. Forrrealll. Can't wait to see what you think of those too! <3 :D

On the Island looks amazing! :D If Racquel recommends it, I know I must read it too. Besides, I've been wanting some good adult book for like forever now. D; We should try some adult speculative romance some day: you, Racquel, and moi~ <3

Awesome haul of books this week, Jen! Happy reading <3 <3

    1. Awww, now I'm so excited for these books now!! :) We shall. It will be very interesting for ALL three of us to be reading the the speculative romances at the same. time.

      Thank you Giannaa! :) <3

  5. SUMMAH!!! Ridic excited for Summer 2012. BRACES OFF HOLLAAAAAA

Anyway. I've been meaning to read the Leviathan series for a while now. I don't read much steampunk soo might as well. Suzanne Lazear's Innocent Darkness looks good too. It's on NetGalley. And I can't wait to read The Disenchantments this summer! Finally? PERCY JACKSON IS LIFE.

  6. My co-blogger, Jess has been sailing through the Leviathan series so it must be good. They've been sitting on the shelf for months and then suddenly she reads the first two in one week.

  7. I am very much Obsessed with ANSB! =D I am glad you know this!! haha!
You did get a lot of books, I hope that you enjoy them all!!
