About the Blog:
The Dancing Reader blog was born on December 23, 2011. It was originally a Wordpress blog, but transferred over to Blogger very shortly. The Dancing Reader took a month break for the month of March, but has been up and running since then.

About the Blogger:
Hi everyone! =) I’m a teen girl who just loves reading (and dancing!) almost anything in the YA genre. My favorites are Dystopian, Paranormal, and Contemporary! Truth be told, I am a sucker for romance. Every novel I read must have romance in it in order for me to fully enjoy it. But I am slowly crawling out of my security blanket!
I kind of am an extremely busy person. I started truly blogging in August/September 2011, blogged for 3 full months at The Book Barbies, but then I stopped for personal reasons. Then, I started back up in December/January. Blogged for 2 months, and had to stop AGAIN at the end of February 2012 because I was so extremely busy. After 1 full month, I've decided to start back up again. During the 1 month after I stopped, I guest-posted at Words Like Silver which is run by the VERY AMAZING Grace. :)

I am now a blogger at Novels, News, and Notes from your Northwest Neighbors since May 2012. Please go check it out! It is a collaboration blog featuring other Northwest bloggers & authors.

Some of my favorite books:

You know, the usual. Anna and the French Kiss by Stephanie Perkins. Has to be my favorite contemporary. Possibly favorite book I have ever read. :) Aaaaand then there's Divergent by Veronica Roth! Fast-paced, and also my favorite Dystopian. Probably my second favorite of all time :) Next is The Unbecoming of Mara Dyer by Michelle Hodkin. Yes, there was a lot of flaws in the book, but the concept is just SO COOL. Luuuurv. Yes, my friends. Lola and the Boy Next Door by Stephanie Perkins is a new favorite. I will forever love Stephanie Perkins' writing. It's enchanting.
