Review Policy

Hi there! I'm glad you hovered over to my review policy. 

How I review:

-Title
-Author
-Publisher
-Release Date 
-Cover image (from Goodreads)
-Summary from Goodreads
-My thoughts (I will briefly summarize it myself as well)
-I have started including a "grade" (A+, A, A-, B+, etc.)

I review 99% of the books I read, unless:

  •  it does not correspond to the YA genre
  • if it's a school book. 
  • it is a classic 
  • it's EXTREMELY well known (i.e. Harry Potter, Twilight, etc.)
All of my reviews are of my 100% honest opinion. I think it is completely pointless to promote a book you didn't enjoy and lie about it. I do include negative reviews, but they tend to be shorter.


I post my reviews on the blog and on Goodreads.

Publishers & Authors:
I am not accepting books for review at the moment.
I only accept Netgalley titles, or books that I request myself. I also only review books for Novels, News, and Notes from your Northwest Neighbors. Other than that, I am not excepting other novels for review. Indie authors, I am still going to review your books that I requested previously. I'm sorry for the delay. 


I do not sell, print, or copy any books I get for review. 

I'm truly sorry for the inconvenience, it is just easier for me.

  • Dystopian**
  • Sci-Fi
  • Thriller (especially psychological!!)
  • Horror (MAYBE.)
